The Trivium School annual Mt. Monadnock Climb is on Monday, October 10th.
Please remember to wear appropriate clothing for hiking a mountain. The rangers request that we understand the rules (e.g., what you carry in, you carry out) and that we be prepared: each individual should bring a bag lunch, a wind breaker, a sweater, a warm hat, 1½ to 2 quarts of water and shoes with good traction.
We strongly recommend that you reserve parking. Parking is limited, especially on holidays. At the link below, you can reserve parking, see more information about directions, maps of the mountain, and hiking tips
After the hike, a cookout will be held at Trivium School from 3:30 p.m. until dusk. For the cookout, the school will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, condiments, coffee, and tea. If you would like to come to the cookout, please bring something to share. This will help to ensure that we have enough food and drinks for our hungry and thirsty crowd after the climb!
